128 PáginasResumen:El trabajo de grado Sistema Inteligente para Detección de Intrusos en Redes Informáticas, SIDIRI cuenta con una introducción a las tres líneas de conocimiento que concurren en la investigación: las redes, la detección de intrusos y los sistemas inteligentes, enfocándose en aspectos concretos que tienen una relación directa con el trabajo de grado expuesto. Cuenta también con la elaboración de un estado del arte sobre trabajos realizados anteriormente en el campo de la detección de intrusos basados en sistemas inteligentes, con el fin de aprender de los enfoques que se han dado al problema y los planteamientos de solución que han surgido de los mismos. Posteriormente se plantea el desarrollo un modelo propio enfocado en la detección de intrusos en redes Ethernet usando como identificador un sistema inteligente, la red neuronal artificial ART, cuyas características permiten la diferenciación de conexiones de red normales de aquellos cuyo comportamiento sugiere un ataque informático. Una vez determinado un modelo cuyas características satisfagan las necesidades descritas anteriormente se describe la elaboración de un prototipo funcional para medir la efectividad de dicho modelo en un ambiente simulado y los datos obtenidos mediante pruebas del prototipo se utilizan para determinar qué factores determinan la efectividad y la utilidad del modelo propuesto. Posteriormente se plantean futuras modificaciones que permitan al modelo lograr resultados más efectivos y detallados, así como también configuraciones del software y hardware que permitan mejorar su rendimiento.Abstract:The grade thesis "Sistema Inteligente para Detección de Intrusos en Redes Informáticas", SIDIRI includes an introduction to the knowledge areas that are related to the investigation: Networking, Intruder Detection and Intelligent Systems. The investigation focus on the aspects that have a direct connection with the thesis theme. It also counts with an analysis of documents made by other investigators that refers to thesis themes, which have been developed using the intruder detection and intelligent systems knowledge, with the objective of create new points of view of the problem and its possible solution. There are plans for the development of our own model that will work mainly on detecting intruders in networks using an intelligent system to learn and create patterns, a neural ART network, which characteristics allow the identification of normal and malicious packages. Once the model is finished, the thesis will continue with the elaboration of a functional prototype that will be used to test the effectiveness of the model and how useful it is.
